Registration

How do I register?

What type of payments are accepted?

  • Payment must be made by credit card. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.

Will I get a receipt?

  • You will receive a receipt with your payment details in the registration confirmation email sent to the primary email address on your account. If you cannot find the email in your inbox, check your spam inbox.

When does the registration window close?

  • Registration closes at 11:59 PM PT on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

How do I go back to my purchased products?

I have navigated to the review bundle, but I cannot access the modules, what do I do?

  • We recommend that you complete the following steps to troubleshoot:
    • Make sure that you are not using Internet Explorer as the modules are not compatible with this browser. Try using Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox.
    • Make sure you are logged in. Your name should appear at the top of the left side column.
  • Contact CGEP@coh.org if these troubleshooting steps do not work.
Content & Access

When and how long can I access the SDR modules?

  • Access to the SDR modules will open right after registering and will close on July 3, 2025. CME credit can only be earned until September 1, 2024. NSGC CEU credit can be earned until September 30, 2024.

Where do I find the recorded modules?

  • Any recorded modules, quizzes, exercises, and evaluations can be found under the "Modules" tab of each Review Bundle.

When do I complete the quiz and evaluations?

  • Each quiz will unlock after the minimum view time for its corresponding video has been met. The evaluations will unlock after all recorded modules have been viewed, all quizzes have been passed with the minimum passing score (70% for participants seeking CME, 80% within 3 attempts for participants seeking NSGC CEUs), and all required exercises have been completed. Completing the evaluation will unlock the CME code (if applicable) and the certificate of completion.

Why can't I pass this quiz?

  • Make sure to read each question carefully - some questions may have multiple answers (usually indicated by "Select all that apply"). Make sure to select every correct answer for each question to earn all the possible points on a quiz.

Can I skip ahead?

  • You may complete Review Bundles in any order that you prefer, but you must complete the contents within a bundle in the required order.

Can I retake the quiz?

  • Participants seeking CME credits can retake a quiz with no limit on their attempts until they pass with a 70% score.
  • Participants seeking NSGC CEU credits can retake a quiz up to 3 times until they pass with an 80% score.
  • If your quiz progress is blocked, please email CGEP@coh.org.

Who are the faculty teaching the courses?

  • You can view the faculty and their bios under the "Speakers" tab of each Review Bundle.

How do I view slide handouts?

  • Corresponding slide handouts from the module lectures can be found in the "Slide Handouts" tab of each course bundle. You can download and print these for your learning.

Can I access the SDR on my mobile device?

  • This program has not been thoroughly tested on mobile platforms. We recommend using these modules on a desktop browser such as Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox for the best learning experience.

My access is expiring, can I renew?

  • We are currently not allowing participants to extend their access. We plan to offer updated editions of this review program in the future.
Certificate & Credit
  • Will I receive CME/CEU credit?

You may earn CME credit by completing course bundles before September 1, 2024. For more instructions on how to claim credits, review the following instructions:

  • Course Bundles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 have been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
    • Mode of Participation:
    • Each accredited Course Bundle will offer a unique Activity Code once the course has been successfully completed (view recorded learning modules, complete assignments, and quizzes).
    • The Activity Code will need to be submitted to the Continuing Medical Education department via the online submission portal. Activity Code and link to the online submission portal will be provided once you have successfully completed the course and pass the quizzes.
    • Participation Requirement:
      • All participants must create an account in the City of Hope CME system.
      • IMPORTANT: The system does not support International Numbers, therefore, simply enter the first 10 digits of your number, to bypass the mobile number requirement.

  • Genetic Counselor CEUs: The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized City of Hope  to offer up to 3.457 CEUs or 34.57 Category 1 contact hours for the activity Self-Directed Review in Genetic Cancer Risk Assessment. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.

My friend/colleague is also interested in the SDR, can they register?

  • Registration to this program is currently limited to CCGCoP members who have completed a previous Intensive Course.
