The Self-Directed Review in Genetic Cancer Risk Assessment is designed to help GCRA-practicing clinicians refresh their knowledge and skillset with updated content from leaders in the cancer genomics world. Topics include pedigree documentation, basics in genetic counseling for cancer risk, interpreting complex test results, as well as evidence-based content related to hereditary predisposition to breast, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, endocrine, and pediatric cancers. Program Structure
- Virtual, self-directed 9-course-bundle curriculum to be completed within a 12-month period starting September 1, 2023, and ending September 1, 2024.
- View recorded learning modules from our expert faculty
- Test your knowledge by completing quizzes and assignments
- Complete a series of required feedback evaluations

- Non-CCGCoP Members: $1000
Credits & Certificate
- Course Bundles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 have been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.
- Mode of Participation:
- Each accredited Course Bundle will offer a unique Activity Code once the course has been successfully completed (view recorded learning modules, complete assignments, and quizzes).
- The Activity Code will need to be submitted to the Continuing Medical Education department via the online submission portal. Activity Code and link to the online submission portal will be provided once you have successfully completed the course and pass the quizzes. Participants have until September 1, 2024 to submit these codes.
- Participation Requirement:
- All participants must create an account in the City of Hope CME system.

- Genetic Counselor CEUs: The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized City of Hope to offer up to 3.457 CEUs or 34.57 Category 1 contact hours for the activity Self-Directed Review in Genetic Cancer Risk Assessment. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.Participants have until September 30, 2024, to earn NSGC CEUs.
